BEAR HUNTING
Every year many of our hunters harvest 300 lb. + bears. The hunters here at Wekusko Falls Lodge have taken numerous record book bears though out the years that we have been bear hunting here at the Lodge. In 1999 one of our hunters harvested a bear that tipped the scales at 500 lbs.
	Our allocated hunting area is approximately 50 miles by 40 miles of country. We maintain an average of 60 bait stations to insure that each hunter has fresh and active baits to hunt. Many of our stands are only accessible by boat or ATV.
We have both portable and permanent stands for our hunting clientele, some of these stands are built for our older hunters in mind, these stand are spacious and have easy access .

UPLAND BIRD AND WATERFOWL HUNTING
We offer our clients the opportunity to experience what we think could be some of the finest upland bird and waterfowl hunting found any where in North America. There are three species of grouse that inhabit our area. The spruce grouse, ruffed grouse and the sharp-tail grouse. New growth in old burns, old logging roads and rail beds provide for some excellent hunting grounds, all of which are within a few miles of the lodge.
For are duck hunters, northern Manitoba's marshlands are a natural habitat for mallards, redheads, pintails, teal, shoveller, widgeon, ruddy, golden eye, snow and canadian geese. The many bays on the big lake, the small lakes and rivers in our area offer endless possibilities for the duck hunter.
